Short Biography

Julius and Ethel Rosenberg who were convicted of espionage on behalf of the Soviet Union; the atomic bomb spies were executed on June 19, 1953, at Sing Sing Prison, Ossining, New York.

The records which you have request have been previously processed under the provisions of the Freedom of information Act. The documents available for release consists of 663 pages.

Enclosed are the first 100 pages of documents which are being released free of charge.

Persuant to Title 28, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 16.11, there is a fee of ten cents per page for duplication. Upon receipt of your check or money order payable to the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the amount of $56.30 the remaining documents will be copied and forwarded to you.
